The University of Florida women's club team is accepting applications for the position of head coach. This is a part-time, 8-month head coaching position, which includes fall ball and the spring season. The team is highly competitive in the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (WCLA) and also competes in the Southeastern Women's Lacrosse League, winning 6 of the last 8 SWLL championships. The team consistently ranks among the top 10 club teams in the nation and usually qualifies for the WCLA National Tournament at the end of each season.  UF looks to have a strong year in 2012 after winning SWLL and finishing 7th in the nation in 2011.  We are a hard-working squad with a strong dedication to the sport and are looking for a coach who shares the same desire to win as we do.  Duties include coaching three/four practices a week from September-April AND coaching games (usually three total during September-November and about three games a month from February-April, with most games played on weekends.) As it is a club team, the student-athletes are responsible for scheduling, budget preparation, management, travel plans, recruiting, fund raising, etc. The coach's responsibilities only include coaching/running practices and games. Requirements: Some level of college play/coaching or high school coaching is preferred. Start A Rewarding Career As A Lacrosse Official

For Boys Lacrosse:

South Florida Lacrosse Officials Association is seeking experienced and non-experienced individuals to work as sub contractors to officiate boys’ youth, recreational, club, community and high school lacrosse games.

Availability is expected to be afternoons, evenings and some weekends.

Training will be provided by US Lacrosse representative at a time and place to be determined based upon class size.

Compensation depends upon level of game you assigned. Travel expense may or may not be included.

Approved uniform is required.

Officials are in integral part of the game. This is a great way to get involved, network with officials, get some exercise, make a difference in your community and earn some money.
