2011 Golf Outing

 

On Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, we held the 12th Annual US Lacrosse – Potomac Chapter Fund Raiser Golf Outing at the University of Maryland Golf Course in College Park.

This was our largest and most successful Golf Outing, helping the Potomac Chapter to continue to accomplish its mission of expanding the growth and excellence of lacrosse in the greater Washington DC Metro Area. The golf outing had 100 golfers participating, and another 12 people came for the lunch and fantastic raffle.

We had 25 foursomes of golfers, and they were divided into two flights, based on their scramble (captain’s choice) score. The winners were:

The weather was beautiful for golf, the golf course was in fantastic shape, and the food for the lunch was terrific.

The 2011 Golf Outing was another fun day and great success, and the Potomac Chapter looks forward to doing the outing again next year.
