Michigan was the 39th state to enact a law that regulates sports concussions and return to athletic activity. The law went into effect on June 30th, 2013.
The law requires that all coaches, employees, volunteers, and other adults involved with a youth athletic activity to complete a concussion awareness on-line training program.

In order to meet the requirements of Michigan's legislation, you must complete the appropriate concussion on-line courses. If you work with both High School and Youth, you should complete both. Be sure to print or save your certificate at the end, as you are not able to go back in and reprint.
