2014 FIL World Championships- DENVER

US Lacrosse is thrilled to bring the excitement of the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships to Denver in 2014. This marks the first time the United States has hosted this world championship since 1998, and this promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for lacrosse fans around the globe.

Led by fourth-quarter dramatics from Ned Crotty, the United States edged Canada to win the 2010 FIL World Championship in Manchester, England, avenging a 2006 loss to Canada in the gold medal game. The 2014 championship is expected to be every bit as competitive, with a record total of more than 40 nations expected to participate.

Combined with great entertainment planned at an International Village and lacrosse festivals for youth and adult teams, this event will also bring a unique experience to the Rocky Mountains.
