Travel Team Information

Please note the team ages are based on birthdays as of August 31, 2013. Use the following chart to help you:
U9 - Born on or after 9/1/2004
U11 - Born on or after 9/1/2002
U13 - Born on or after 9/1/2000
U15 - Born on or after 9/1/1998
U17 - Born on or after 9/1/1996
U19 - Born on or after 9/1/1994

Also, all costs for the clubs do not take into account additional travel fees to get to the tournaments. They simply account for field use, coach fees and equipment use.

This group has been in the area for several years, but until this year, has mostly served the older group of players. This year, they will have a U18, U16, and a U13 team. Older teams will travel to the east coast for tournaments, U13 will stay in Texas. Coach Erinn will be coaching the U13 team. Other coaches from around the city.
No fee to tryout.
Fees: $200 plus costs of tournaments and travel

The HouLa organizatio n has also been in the area several years and have taken teams to national championship games. This year, they will field one 5th grade team, two 6th grade teams, one 7/8th grade team, and one U17 team. Estimate 20 - 22 kids per team. Practices may be held in the Woodlands, West Houston Christian or other centrally located campuses as needed. Coaches from various programs around the city.

This group has been around a few seasons mostly serving the younger age groups. This year, they will fie ld U9, U11, U13, U15 teams as well as a 4/5th grade girls team. Practices held in Sienna Plantation. They are looking for U9 players and girls to round out their travel teams this summer. Contact the team directly for details on trying out for the team. Coaches from various programs around the city.
No fee to tryout.
Cost estimated at $300.
Tournaments attending are both in and out of state.

This team has also been in the area a number of years and bases out of the South Campus Sports Complex at Stella Link and Loop 610. They will field teams in the U11, U13, U15 and U17 age groups for the summer. Check their website often as they say the information will be posted soon. Texas United Lacrossehttp://www .stickstarlacrosse.com/news_article/show/341507?referrer_id=146343 Their process is a little less defined and there may be an invitational aspect to it but the people that take part in it speak highly of it. The youngest program they run is U13. Practices are in the Woodlands with some sessions possible in Dallas.
