NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship

The 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship returns to Towson University at Johnny Unitas Stadium, May 23 & 25, in Towson, Maryland. After a thrilling triple-overtime championship match last year in which North Carolina upset the top-seeded Maryland Terrapins, this year's championship looks to provide even more excitement for lacrosse fans and enthusiasts. Quarterfinal winners will compete in semifinal matches held May 23 with the national championship match of the NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship played May 25.

May 9: First Round - Sites TBA (field of the highest seed)

May 11: Second Round - Sites TBA (field of the highest seed)

May 17-18: Quarterfinals - Sites TBA (field of the highest seed)

May 23-25: Championships - Johnny Unitas Stadium, Towson University Towson, MD


NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships

The 2014 NCAA Division I, II, III Men's Lacrosse Championships returns to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, May 24th-26th. Division I quarterfinal winners will compete in semifinal matches held May 24. The Division II and Division III National Championship games will be conducted on May 25. The national championship match of the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship will be played May 26. The championships also included LaXperience Fan Fest, a FREE fan festival. This fun-filled, interactive area allows fans of any age a change to experience the thrills, excitement and spirit of college lacrosse. Whether you try your hand at various skills, get autographs and pictures with well-known laxers, watch live entertainment, or just kick back with friends…this is the place to be on the day of the big game!

Tournament Schedule:

 May 10-11: First Round - Eight Sites (TBA)

May 17: Quarterfinals - Hofstra University, Hampstead, NY

May 18: Quarterfinals - University of Delaware, Newark, DE

May 24-26: Championships DI, DII, & DIII - M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD



Players must be US Lacrosse members and part of either the WESTERN MD OR GREATER BALTIMORE CHAPTER OF US LACROSSE.

Players need to be in either 9th, 10th or 11th grade,  Players can receive the online registration link from their HS coach. 


FIRST ROUND TRYOUTS ARE APRIL 13th from 9-4pm at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, MD.  Players selected on the 13th will participate in a TEAM PLACEMENT tryout on APRIL 27TH from 10-2pm at Garrison Forest School.  The National Tournament will be held May 24th-25th at CEDAR LANE REGIONAL PARK in Bel Air, MD

Speaker Series

Dr. Richard Ginsburg, noted sports psychologist and a member of the US Lacrosse Sports Science & Safety Committee, recently served as the inaugural presenter in the Greater Baltimore Chapter's newly-launched Speaker Series. Ginsburg's presentation was entitled "Five Things Every Lacrosse Parent Should Know."

The Greater Baltimore Chapter of US Lacrosse is selling State of Maryland/US Lacrosse license plates to raise funds for  local lacrosse initiatives. License plates are $50; $25 goes to the MVA and $25 is a tax deductible donation to the Greater Baltimore Chapter of US Lacrosse. For more information, please email Roger Smith.
