Grants for the Colorado Lacrosse Community

The goal of the Colorado Lacrosse Foundation Grant Program is to support the growth of the game of lacrosse in Colorado. We award grants in amounts up to $500 to groups and organizations that need financial help. Youth programs (U19 and younger) are our primary focus.


Any lacrosse organization within Colorado and whose participants are a member of US Lacrosse, Inc. (USL) or
Any individual within Colorado who is a member of USL


Requested amounts can be between $50 and $500

For Whom  

The requested funds can be used for any level from youth through adult. All applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for matching funds from additional sources.

How to Apply    

Follow the link below to complete the application. Describe how much money is needed, how the funds will be used, how much money the team or individual has already raised for the project, amount expected to be raised, and how it was raised. How will this benefit CLF or the Colorado Lacrosse Community.


The proposal will be discussed before the CLF finance committee. A majority vote will determine accept or decline. Individuals submitting the proposals may be asked to supply further details or make a presentation at the deciding meeting. Upon submission, you will receive notification and an expected review date.

If the proposal is accepted, the team or individual must send a follow-up letter within one month of receiving the funds. This is to be submitted to the CLF to verify allocation of the funds.

Wheelchair Lacrosse- Demo at the 2014 World Games

Wheelchair Lacrosse received a $500 grant from CLF this summer to assist in the rental of a portable rink for the 2014 FIL World Games Demonstration.  We are very excited about the awareness this opportunity provided and also the great experience for all of the players!

U15 Boys Team Colorado Takes on the U15 National Championships

The U15 Boys Team Colorado received a $500 grant from CLF this summer to help offset the cost of competing in the 2014 USL U15 National Championships in Aurora, CO. Competing on their home turf, Team CO went 5-0 and finished in 3rd place in the tournament. Congratulations on a well played tournament!

RMLOA- FIL World Games Officials Social

RMLOA (Men's Officals Association) hosted a number of officials from around the world participating in the 2014 FIL World Championships at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.  CLF help offset the cost of this event through a $500 grant to promote sportsmanship in all parts of the game.  

Patriots Lacrosse Receives Grant for IMPACT Software

Great job to Patriots Lacrosse Club of Colorado Springs for setting up a concussion testing program for all players in their program.  CLF provided a $400 grant to the Patriots to implement IMPACT software program wide.  Thank you for providing an valuable service to your club!

Doc Stabler and Pam Bent Award Winners

Congratulations to the 2014 recipients of the Doc Stabler Award and Pam Bent Award.  These two awards go to two high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills, academic success and of course strong lacrosse abilities and accomplishments.  Maddi Conlin is the recipient of the Pam Bent Award. Collin Owens is the recipient of the Doc Stabler Award.  Each student-athlete is provided with a $500 grant from Colorado Lacrosse Foundation. Congratulations Maddi and Collin!

Joe Ehrmann Speaks in Glenwood Springs, CO

World renowned coach, speaker and inspiration, Joe Ehrmann, spoke at Glenwood Springs HS in May 2014 to a group of coaches and community members.  The attendees had the opportunity to learn from Joe through speeches and a coaching clinic.  CLF was able to help offset the cost of the weekend through a $500 grant.  Congratulations on a great event!

CSLA Team Colorado Competes in National Tournament in May, 2014

High school girls lacrosse players from around the state of Colorado competed in the USL 2014 National Tournament in May 2014.  These players tryout to play with the best athletes in the state to represent Colorado in this unique tournament. Colorado Lacrosse Foundation was excited to help offset travel costs associated with this experience through a $500 grant.  Congratulations to all of the National Team Colorado players!

Conifer Women's Lacrosse Receives New Goalie Equipment

The Conifer Women's Lacrosse program received two sets of new goalie equipment to assist their program needs during the 2013 season.  Thank you to Breakaway Sports who, together with Colorado Lacrosse Foundation, provided $500 worth of equipment to the program.
